"Paella Feast 1998 in California"
| Mark Vasconcellos ('81) and Victor Hightower ('80) have become
famous for their paella parties in southern california! Usually a bi-annual event, Mark
and Vic turn one of their homes into a spanish restaurant/tapa bar. Complete with tapas,
Mark's awesome Spanish Sangria, flamenco music, bodas, bullfights (on the tv!), spanish
decor, Fortunas (claro que si!), and PAELLA!

| Paella Fest. 98 took place on Sat. Oct. 17th at the home of Mark
and Ceci Vasconcellos! 35 close friends and family showed up for an array of spanish
cuisine, music and dancing. The guests feasted on homemade spanish tapas, while three
chefs: Victor Hightower, Jeff Hightower and Mark Vasconcellos all cooked their famous
versions of Pealla Valenciana!

| The fiesta lasted into the early hours of sunday morning with
several guests crashing on couches, beds and floor space at Casa Vasconcellos. |
The next Paella party at Mark's will be an ASM
mini reunion! We will keep all of you up to date! |
