The Burbank Bar and Grille is located at the corner of San
Fernando and Olive. We will have a large table reserved in a back room. The reservation is
in my name and also under American School of Madrid.
Dinners are in $6-$21 range and the Burbank Bar and Grille has a varied menu which
includes seafood, steaks, pasta, salads, and hamburgers. Everyone pays their own way.
Thank you, Vic Hightower, for the recommendation. It sounds great!
Please let me know by Wednesday, October 27th, if you are planning on attending. Spouses
and significant others are of course welcome (just let me know how many). If you know of
any other ASMers in the Southern California area that are not on this list, or who may not
read their e-mail, please forward the invitation and ask them to contact me.
This is just an informal California get-together to meet other ASMers and visit. Don't
forget to bring your Reflections (or El Clarín) yearbooks! The people who I know plan to
be there are: Carol Farron ('69), Cheryl Fearey LaGue ('72), Gita Kevlin ('74), Vic
Hightower ('80) and Mark Vasconcellos ('81).
For those of you in Northern California, I do know my geography, I just did not want to
inadvertently leave off someone who might be able to attend. If you will be in the San
Francisco area on Saturday, October 24th, Gus Gonzalez has another mini-reunion planned at
the Lobby / Bar @ Hyatt Regency - Embarcadero Center. |
